Question 1

How old do I have to be to rent a trailer?

Accepted Answer

You must be at least 21 with a valid driver's license and current auto insurance in your name.

Question 2

Do I need a brake controller?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every trailer in our fleet requires a working trailer brake controller in the tow vehicle. It is checked at pickup.

Question 3

How much is due when I book?

Accepted Answer

A booking deposit of 25% of the rental subtotal is charged online. The remaining balance is charged at pickup, and a refundable security deposit is handled separately at pickup.

Question 4

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancel 48 or more hours before your pickup time for a full refund of the booking deposit. Inside 48 hours, or for a no-show, the booking deposit is retained.

Question 5

Where exactly do I pick up?

Accepted Answer

Pickup is in Hagerstown, Maryland. The exact address and access instructions are released to you once your reservation is confirmed and the deposit clears.

Question 6

Do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Not at this time. All equipment is picked up and returned at our Hagerstown location.

Question 7

How does pricing work for longer rentals?

Accepted Answer

We price every applicable tier — hourly, half day, full day, multi-day, and weekly — and charge the cheapest one that covers your window. We never multiply the hourly rate across a long rental.

Question 8

Is rental protection insurance?

Accepted Answer

No. Rental protection reduces your responsibility for accidental damage to our equipment under the terms of the rental agreement. It is not liability insurance and does not cover your cargo, your tow vehicle, or third parties.

Question 9

Can someone else tow the trailer?

Accepted Answer

Only an approved driver named on the reservation may tow. An unauthorized driver is a $250 fee and can void protection coverage.

Question 10

What happens if I'm late returning?

Accepted Answer

There is a 30-minute grace period. From 31 to 60 minutes late is $35. Beyond an hour, the next applicable rental period plus $50 applies. More than four hours late without approval is billed as a full additional day.

Question 11

Can I return after hours?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your reservation includes a secure return link where you confirm arrival, parking, securement, and returned accessories. The security deposit stays pending until we inspect the equipment.

Question 12

Does the dump trailer have to come back empty?

Accepted Answer

Yes, empty and swept. Returning it loaded is a $250 fee plus actual disposal cost, and prohibited material is $500 plus remediation.
