Vehicle Transport
Move The Car Without Renting A Rollback
An open car hauler handles the vast majority of vehicle moves — at a fraction of the cost of a tow truck.

Good fits
- Auction and online marketplace pickups within the region
- Non-running project cars going to or from a shop
- Track day and autocross weekends
- Moving a second vehicle during a household move
What you'll need
- A tow vehicle rated for at least 9,000 lbs with a Class IV receiver
- 2-5/16 inch ball rated to 10,000 lbs and a working brake controller
- Four axle straps or wheel nets — available as an add-on
- A winch or second vehicle if the car does not run
Loading tips
Position the vehicle so roughly 60% of its weight sits ahead of the trailer axles — that's usually front wheels just forward of the fenders. Strap at the wheels or axles, never the suspension or body. Re-check every strap within the first few miles and again at your first stop.
